Nicolas started out working as a theatre teacher and assistant director at various theatres in Germany. He went on to study media art and design at the Bauhaus University Weimar. Since 2021 he has been studying directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Nicolas is a scholarship holder of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation and attended the La Fémis in Paris in 2023. His last short film “A Question of Honor,” which was made in collaboration with SWR and ARTE, will premiere at the
Filmfestival Max-Ophüls Preis in 2025.
